Geisler AKC Champions provides high quality, AKC Russell Terriers & Dachshunds for purchase to show homes or as loving companions. 

As a small breeder of Russell Terriers and Dachshunds in the midwest region, we strive on producing dogs that conform to their breed standard for showing purposes in the breed ring as well as breeding to produce for outstanding temperaments and overall sound health in all of our dogs. 
    
All of our dogs are raised in-home and are OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) health tested, as recommended by the parent breed clubs. Our dogs are checked for thyroid, heart, eyes, & patellas at the age of 2 prior to breeding. We also test for Progressive Retinal Atrophy in our dogs (PRA) an eye condition were the retina located in the back of the dogs eye starts thinning and wasting away causing loss of vision in a dogs eye sight as it progresses. 

Health testing is a very important part of our breeding program as well as helping to maintain the breed standard we have come to know and love today!
